Starting in the home service sector with CIS, I gained valuable experience on all aspects of mortgages, investments, protection and general insurances for over 15 years, then in 2000 took the forward step of giving Independent financial advice, being based in Newcastle upon Tyne. I joined Independent Financial Advisory Services (IFAS) in 2003, becoming a Partner in 2008, and opening a sub office in South Shields, to provide financial and mortgage advice to the people of South Tyneside and beyond. Due to multiple retirements at IFAS in 2015, I decided to concentrate on setting up North East Mortgages-Mortgage Brokers & Financial Advisers.
